World Wetlands Day will provide the opportunity for 10 leadlight windows installed in the centre late last year to be "officially welcomed".
Chief executive officer of RiverSmart Australia Dr Bill Phillips has encouraged residents of the region to turn out to the event from 5pm on February 2.
Funding from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the NSW government made it possible for a group of "local ladies" led by Warren's Sarah Williamson to create the windows featuring wetland and river characters.
"This amazing project resulted in 10 new leadlight windows being designed and installed in the former St Mary's Church hall, now the Kookaburra Kiosk part of the WOW Centre," Dr Phillips said.
"Even if you have seen them in all their glory, please drop in to help us publicly thank those involved and marvel at their skill."
World Wetlands Day will also be marked at the WOW Centre with the launch of an exhibition by Dubbo's Bill O'Shea, running until almost the end of February.
Established in stages, the WOW Centre sits beside Warren's Tiger Bay Wetlands about 100 kilometres from the Macquarie Marshes.
The "education, recreation and cultural" facility doubles as the headquarters of RiverSmart and its ever-expanding Macquarie Valley Trails program.
Sustainable Livelihoods is the theme of World Wetlands Day 2016.
