Department of Human Services employees Wayne Cole and Shane Blizzard took the plunge on Thursday in front of some amused colleagues, with Mr Cole going for blue and gold and Mr Blizzard opting for black and orange.
Mr Cole is a mad Parramatta Eels supporter while Mr Blizzard barracks for the Wests Tigers which was the inspiration behind their colour choices.
Of the 16 men at Mr Cole's workplace who were invited to participate in the Movember campaign, almost all accepted the challenge which greatly pleased him.
"At the start of the month we sent the email out to see who would be coming on board and it was great to see most blokes take up the challenge," he said.
"It has been good fun and generated a lot of awareness and discussion in the office regarding men's health.
By colouring the mos, Mr Cole and Mr Blizzard received a substantial increase toward their Movember fundraising efforts, and they hope people will keep donating up until December 1.
While both were being good sports about the dying on Thursday, they were looking forward to the end of the month so they could get back to their usual look of being clean shaven.
