Chase down Rugby's total 9-332 in 75 overs.
Rugby batted all day last week, and a Jordan Moran century led them to a more then competitive total.
Unfortunately for Rugby they will be missing both Moran and key all-rounder James O'Brien for day two as they are away on Western Zone duty at Wagga.
Bowling has been Rugby's Achilles heel so far this Whitney Cup season, with their inability to restrict sides a big reason they have yet to win a game.
Newtown posted 285 against them in round one before South Dubbo amassed a huge 361 the next match.
Most recently, Colts cruised to 3-200 after earlier dismissing Rugby for 169.
The fact Western Zone opening bowler O'Brien is missing makes Rugby's task even more difficult.
But with a massive total behind them, the bowlers will be full of confidence against a CYMS side which was rolled for 153 in their first innings last match.
There is still plenty of options in the bowling attack with the likes of Blake Watmore, Jacob Bruce and Tyler Woodrow all expected to play big roles while Dan Horrocks and Adrian Carey are also a chance of returning after missing day one.
CYMS have suffered a loss of their own with Naden in Wagga as well but Ryan Medley returns to the side after missing day one.
The likes of Dave McAlister, Matt Ellis, Thomas Nelson and Ben Knaggs will also be key for the Cougars.
CYMS were hugely impressive in round one when they defeated reigning premiers RSL-Colts but following a rain-affected match against Macquarie they went down to Souths.
The poor showing with the bat in the first innings was a big reason behind that loss but the Cougars saved some face in their second innings with a much-improved effort.
McAlister made 71 while Nelson chipped in with 35 not out in the total of 5-220 and Medley's return will boost the side further.
CYMS will begin their run chase from 1pm.
