Around 8.30am, the car collided with the ambulance – that was conveying a patient to hospital – at the corner of Barnard and Don Streets in Bendigo.
Sergeant Robert Walsh said thankfully there had been no injuries, but he warned motorists to be vigilant and concentrate on the roads.
The accident comes after a wild weekend on Bendigo’s streets, after a car flipped onto its roof at a major intersection on Saturday morning and a truck driver failed to apply the handbrake, which saw the truck crash into two cars and a house.
