ANOTHER Group 11 season comes to an end on Sunday and while some finals are what many predicted, that is not to say this season has not had its fair share of shocks and thrilling matches.

Attacking play and entertaining rugby league has been the order of the day all season throughout the grades and here's hoping that is the theme again on Sunday.
So often this season teams have racked up huge scores and, somewhat incredibly, teams have scored 38 points or more on 48 occasions during the first grade season.
That's three-quarters of the matches played in 2015.
While it may not be for the rugby league purists, it has been great for the fans at each and every ground.
The first grade is the decider many expected with CYMS meeting Parkes but the two have been the standouts all season and deserve their spot.
Both have been brilliant in attack this season and watching the likes of Kieran Shipp, Jyie Chapman, Colby Pellow, Tino Ionatana, Dennis Moran and Brendan Tago in action is always a pleasure.
Their stats are eerily similar and set the stage for another close and entertaining encounter.
CYMS' average result during the regular season was a 40-18 win while there were more points in Parkes with their average result a 42-21 win.
While that points to a high-scoring affair, it would be a shock to see that kind of result on Sunday with grand finals regularly dominated by defence.
Fans may turn up expecting to see the points flow but the decider may well go against everything that has happened this season and be a low-scoring match.
In the lower grades, it may not be the finals Group 11 officials dreamed of with only Dubbo represented, but the local derbies will ensure there is plenty of passion on show. And the League Tag, in its very first season, has brought a stack of new fans to the game.
The Westside Bunnies, through their sheer numbers and the persistence of coach Col Fuller, are nearly the entire reason there is a League Tag competition in Group 11 and after going through the season undefeated few would argue they are not worthy if they are to lift the trophy against Parkes on Sunday.
While it looks like Dubbo has an outstanding chance to be the resting place for all four premierships for the next 12 months, all we can hope for are four matches which live up to the occasion.
Congratulations to all players and coaches involved and the best of luck to them and their supporters on the biggest day of the season.
May the best team win and let's hope they all play the kind of footy we've loved watching in 2015.
