But if you try telling that to the Dubbo Kangaroos or Bathurst Bulldogs you are going to get a very different answer.
The two go head-to-head in this weekend's minor semi-final and Roos skipper Shaun McHugh is adamant the winner can still have a big impact on the competition.
"Everyone's talking about them (Orange) and that's fair enough, they've been the form sides but I don't think they're unbeatable," he said.
"I reckon whoever wins this game can absolutely go on and win it.?It will be a tough ask with the final at Orange but they're beatable.
"But first thing is first and that's Bathurst at Bathurst this weekend."
The Roos and Dogs have shared the honours in their two previous matches this season with both sides winning their respective clashes at home.
After defeating Mudgee 41-7 in a do-or-die match last week the Roos make the trip to Ashwood Park in another elimination battle while the two Orange sides meet in the major semi-final.
"The scoreline didn't represent the game, especially in the second half, Mudgee were good and came out firing but we take confidence from the fact we weathered that storm and turned it into points," McHugh said.
"Hopefully we can start better but finish the way we did, that's the plan."
The start of the game was a major point of concern for the Roos after they surrendered a stack of possession and allowed the Wombats to score the first points last week.
McHugh admitted the start of Sunday's minor semi would be vital to the final result of the match, saying it was up to his forward pack to set the tone early.
"We started slow and maybe that's been a bit of a problem all year for us, we've had no trouble scoring points in the second half but if we can start well and get a lead it will be crucial, especially there, and will go a long way to winning the match," he said.
"The forward pack has to dominate and get the upper hand and that will go along way to getting quick ball to Hena (Tuatea), 'Goldy' (Anthony Golding) and Moa (Kavaefiafi) to create opportunities," he said.
McHugh praised prop Benn Wright's efforts in the win over Mudgee while also spoke highly of second-rowers James Elliot and John Korff, with all three expected to play big roles in Sunday's match.
The skipper added he expected few points to be scored between two teams he felt were evenly-matched.
Sunday's minor semi-final kicks off at 3.15pm at Bathurst's Ashwood Park.
