CRICKETERS in Dubbo and right across NSW will continue to receive extra support this season to achieve their sporting dreams, as Cricket NSW and McDonald's celebrate the renewal of their partnership for a second year.

The partnership sees McDonald's as the major community partner of Cricket NSW for the 2015-16 season.
McDonald's will continue to be involved with Cricket NSW on a number of levels including major sponsorship of the Sydney Cricket Association and Country Cricket NSW.
In addition, McDonald's will continue to support recipients of the Cricket NSW Facility Grants program.
In 2014/15 the program funded more than $5.8 million worth of facility upgrades delivered for grassroots cricket across the state, offering local cricket clubs assistance in improving practice and playing facilities to help make cricket more accessible.
Local McDonald's restaurants will also engage with their respective local cricket clubs to host sign-up days and other events and encourage active participation in the sport. They will also recognise a McDonald's junior cricketer of the week from both metropolitan and regional NSW throughout the cricket season.
Cricket NSW General Manager of Commercial Operations and Communications, Brett Richardson, welcomed the partnership with McDonald's continuing for another year.
"We are delighted to have McDonald's on board for another season," he said.
"Both Cricket NSW and McDonald's are passionate about getting kids active, and we will be using the significant reach that McDonald's has both in-store and through social media to promote our recruitment messages and get kids playing cricket this summer."
The partnership continues to reinforce the commitment from McDonald's encouraging junior development in local sporting and community groups.
"After an incredibly successful inaugural year, we are pleased to once again partner with Cricket NSW," said Gary Barraclough, licensee of McDonalds Dubbo, Dubbo West and Wellington.
"At Macca's we value the development of important life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, and we encourage locals from Dubbo to sign up and get involved with their local cricket club.
"We hope our support of Cricket NSW will help to increase the number of Aussies batting, bowling and fielding for our national sport."
