Moorambilla's 10th annual camp kicked off on Thursday at Baradine, with a record number of more than 250 children, including many from Dubbo and surrounding towns, signing up to take part.

The children will have the benefit of working with leading Australian musicians, dancers and visual artists at this year's residential camps.
In July, artistic director Michelle Leonard led the team in a creative immersion at Narran Lakes to develop this year's theme.
"This year the children will, as always, be working with artists of the highest calibre," Michelle said.
"This includes TaikOz and senior artist Anton Lock, premiere vocal company Song Company, choreographer, classical ballet Jacob Williams, composers Alice Chance and Andrew Howes, pianist Benjamin Burton and Indigenous Visual Artist in Residence Frank Wright from Walgett, assisted by regional youth leader Justin Welsh.
"We are also excited to be working with Jilly Jackson from Lismore Lantern Parade, lantern artist Sara Tinning and photographer Noni Carroll."
At the same time Moorambilla Voices has been nominated for three national Apra/Amcos Art Music awards.
"It's a huge year for us as we celebrate 10 years in the region, and celebrate the achievements of our three ensembles," Ms Leonard said.
Moorambilla Voices 10 Year Celebration Concert will be held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre on Saturday, September 19.
Concerts will be held at 4pm and 7pm followed by fire sculptures and lanterns at 8.30pm. Both concerts are the same. All tickets include entrance to the fire sculptures and lanterns.
