► Friday, July 31 to Sunday August 2 - Dubbo and District Kennel Club Championships at the Dubbo Showground from 9am until 4.30pm each day. Three days of Championship Kennel Club conformation, obedience and rally shows. For more information please contact Julie Deem on 0408 462 953.
► Friday, July 31 - SnapShorts at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre at 7.30pm. After supporting the Dubbo, Mudgee and Bathurst Short play seasons in 2014, the Central West Short Play Festival has created a showcase season to tour the region. Specially selected plays have been further developed and crafted to produce a fantastic night of fun, laughter and drama. Tickets are $25 for adults, $25 for concession, $15 for students, $15 for children and $20 for a group of 8 or more.
► Saturday, August 1 - Badboys Australia at the Dubbo RSL Club Resort at 8pm. The all-Australian male revue is set to sizzle as the guy’s take to the stage in dynamic dance routines, dazzling acrobatics and sensational costumes. Strictly 18-years-andover event. Tickets are $30.
► Sunday, August 2 - Dubbo Bridal and Event Expo at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre from 10am to 4pm. Established in 1978, this iconic event is now celebrating 35 years, and has been proudly responsible for presenting thousands of brides to be with access to the very latest information and ideas to assist them in creating the wedding of their dreams. The Exhibition team have worked hard to expand the original Dubbo Bridal Fair concept to what is now arguably Australia’s only combined Bridal Fair and Event Expo. Entry is $16 for adults. ► Sunday, August 2 - The Grigoryan Brothers in This Time at the Macquarie Conservatorium at 3pm. Slava and Leonard Grigoryan perform music from many genres - Latin, jazz, folk and contemporary, showcasing their improvisational skills alongside their technical brilliance. Their appreciation and understanding of a broad spectrum of musical styles has resulted in many collaborations, and the music for this latest recording project was written by a number of their friends from around the world. Tickets are $29 for adults, $24 for concession, $55 for a family of four and $7 for students.
► Monday, August 3 and Tuesday, August 4 - The 26-Storey Treehouse at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
► Friday, August 7 - The Chicken Diaries Goes Arty Opening Night at Dundullimal Homestead.
► Friday, August 7 and Saturday, August 8 - A stunning classical triple bill featuring Swan Lake at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre.
