Riding as Emma Telfer, she rode 32 winners in NSW and two in Tasmania, the most of those wins being onboard Newtons Rings in the $100,000 Listed Pacesetter Stakes at Gosford in 2007.
Coming from last at Gilgandra, He's Guilty ($17), ridden by Parkes jockey Tiffany Jeffries, finished strongly at the outside to defeat Intombi (Sophie Young, $3.20 favourite) and Octajewel (Greg Ryan, $3.40).
Another Gulgong trainer, Brett Thompson, also had a winner at Gilgandra with Ice Cream Lady in the 3D's Butchery Maiden Handicap (1000m).
A two-year-old filly part-owned by Andrew Ferguson at Wellington, Ice Cream Lady had been placed at Bathurst and Dubbo for Sydney trainer David Pfeiffer before coming to Thompson last month.
Taken to the lead early from the outside barrier by Greg Ryan, Ice Cream Lady ($1.60 favourite) won by two lengths from Balerdee Bob (Jeff Kehoe, $61) and Lord Nick (Kody Nestor, $26).
Greg Ryan than gave Dubbo trainer Garry Lunn reason to cheer when he won with Consented.
Consented ($2.40 favourite) had a cosy run behind the leading pair before breaking clear to account for Steam Machine (Tony Cavallo, $5) and Solar Kitty (Leanne Henry, $3.50) in the Chandler Hay Gilgandra Class One Handicap (1800m).
Apprentice jockey Aaron Sweeney also had a double on Saturday, with wins for trainers Kylie Kennedy and Paul Theobald.
Sweeney started the Royal Hotel Benchmark 45 Handicap (1000m) as a $3.50 favourite onboard She'll Avago for Kennedy.
After jumping well from barrier six, She'll Avago led at the top of the bend in a tightly contested race. Sweeney moved away from the field down the straight but Letyahairhangdown (Adam Sewell, $3.60) went hard too and the race was decided by a photo.
Spirited Addition ($12, Glenn Lynch) was third for Garry Lunn.
Sweeney then followed that up with a win in the next event, the Sporties @ Gil Benchmark 50 Handicap (1550m).
It was a completely different ride for the jockey, this time on Tiger's Story ($7), for Theobald.
As the field approached the 400m mark Tiger's Story was still well back in eighth but after Sweeney guided him to the outside, Tiger's Story flew home to win from Tiger Bassie (Anthony Cavallo, $10) and Who Gives A Hoot ($2.40 favourite, Kody Nestor).
