Now raced by Mark Baker and trained at Coonabarabran by Wayne Martyn, Jenuine Wish won the Gold Medal Chinese Restaurant Maiden Handicap (1000m) at Gilgandra on Saturday.

Bathurst trainer Kevin Higgins has a small team of mainly cast-off gallopers and has achieved remarkable results during the past two seasons.
He was in the winner's circle again at Gilgandra on Saturday with Tiger Bassie.
With champion jockey Greg Ryan aboard, Tiger Bassie ($5.50) tracked the pacemakers and was a convincing two-and-a-quarter-length winner over Enley (Nyssa Burrells, $21.00) and Dances On Rainbows (Michael Hackett, $10.00) in the Ahrens Benchmark 45 Handicap (1800m).
