A nine or 10-year-old boy was caught on camera going through the centre like a wrecking ball.
Director Sarah Cameron said the incident had broken the hearts of children.
Police are investigating.
"Our camera footage shows a boy in a bright green shirt aged around nine or 10 years of age jumping the boundary fence and spending a destructive hour in our preschool backyard.
"We arrived on Monday morning to discover our worm farm was scattered over the path and our garden has been trodden down. Worst of all, our guinea pig cage suffered damage which is beyond repair.
"The mesh has been kicked in and timber boards ripped off the exterior. We are grateful that the guinea pigs were not in the cage at the time, and our worms have been fed and are recovering,'' she said.
"We had to break the news to our preschool children. Adelina in the Kangaroo room was horrified "who would do such a thing!", Amelie "who did that?", Milly "oh no, that's where our guinea pigs live!", Fletcher "we could fix it" Markus "we need to build a new one", Mitchell "my Dad has lots and lots of hammers".
"We have worked passionately with our preschool family community and our educators to create a beautiful natural environment for our preschool children to spend their time in and explore.
"It would be extremely disappointing if this violence continues in our yard as it prevents us from enjoying the benefits of caring for our own pets, garden and vegetables.
"As the number of incidents in our yard grows, this is also preventing the preschool from continuing to update and add new equipment to our yard in fear of more damage to our property.''
