Cancer Council NSW events co-ordinator Brianna Carracher has released figures in the lead-up to Thursday's event at Old Dubbo Gaol.
"In Western NSW alone, it is predicted that by 2016, 1818 people will be diagnosed with cancer in a single year, with 582 deaths expected," she said.
"Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is an opportunity for friends, family or workmates to come together, share a cuppa and some delicious food, while raising funds for Cancer Council's vital cancer research, prevention, advocacy and support programs."
On Thursday a cafe on wheels will be at Old Dubbo Gaol.
Entry will be free of charge for the launch from 7am to noon.
Matilda Lou, The Little Vintage Caravan, will sell a range of beverages and "little treats" with 20 per cent of coffee sales to be donated directly to the Cancer Council.
Dubbo workers and families are urged to stop by, as will Cancer Council mascot Dougal Bear.
In its 22nd year, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is one of the Cancer Council's leading fundraising events.
It is considered the largest and most successful of its kind in Australia.
Each year more than 1200 supporters in Western NSW get together with family, friends or workmates to host a morning tea in support of all those in the region affected by cancer.
In 2015 the Cancer Council aims to recruit more than 700 morning tea hosts and raise $270,000 in the central west alone.
