Number 4 Squadron from RAAF Base Williamtown will conducting training with United States Air Force (USAF) units 17th Special Operations Squadron and 320th Special Tactics Squadron between Wednesday and Friday this week.
Two USAF C130J Hercules aircraft will undertake flights from RAAF Base Richmond and conduct several landings into Warren airfield.
The aircraft will drop up to 35 RAAF and USAF combat controller parachutists into a local farm north west of the Warren airfield.
The combat controllers will then conduct training near the landing zone, carrying weapons without ammunition.
The training will take place during day and night flying missions.
On Friday, flying is expected to take place from 6pm and end by midnight.
An RAAF spokesperson said noise reduction and the environment were vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying, and the Air Force appreciated the support of the Warren community.
He said information on aircraft noise and current flying activities was available at www.defence.gov.au/aircraftnoise or by calling 1300 DEFENCE (1300 333 362) and asking to be connected to RAAF Williamtown.
