Visitors were welcomed from Darling River, Parkes, Forbes and Penrith.
Division 1 winner Mitchell McGlasham, off a 4 handicap, had a round containing five birdies and three bogies to be one-under par for a 66 net.
In second place was Club Professional Craig Mears (Plus 2) 67 net, beating Graham Allan on a countback. Graham had a very tidy 73 off the stick.
Division 2 winner was David Pryse-Jones (33) 66 net. Warwick Wheeler (19) filled second spot with a 67 net.
Balls went to 70 on a countback. Craig's 67 net had to be beaten to be in the monkey business.
Nearest the pin winners were Ian Smyth, Mitchell McGlasham, Andrew Hockey and Ken Hinton.
Saturday's 4BBB v par event was the qualifying round for NSW Men's Fourball Championship organised by NSW Golf Association. This event was sponsored by Ezi Clean Car Wash. There were 153 starters with visitors from Charlestown, Tura Beach, Duntryleague, Taree and Everglades.
Winners with plus 12 were Tony McNaught and Greg Dunn. Greg returned the best net round of the day with plus nine but was well assisted by Tony who had two birdies and several pars in his round . Edward Haylock and John Swan were second.
Balls went to plus nine on a countback. Monkey business winners had to have plus one or better in the individual. Nearest the pin winners were Greg Dunn, Len Swan, John Swan, Andrew Dunkley and Glen Farr.
Qualifying pairs for the NSW golf association event were Tony McNaught and Greg Dunn, Jason Farr and Scott McLeod and Christian Hampson and Paul Houston. These Four ball pairs will play off against other Central Western District winners at the Dubbo Golf Club on Sunday, July 26 with the winning pair to go on to an all expenses paid State final at Bonville golf resort - a 36 hole event to be played on October 7 and 8.
On Sunday an Ambrose was held with funds raised to go towards helping Dubbo's Men's Shed. The sponsor was one of the Club's regular sponsors Dubbo City Toyota. The event was won by Helen Jamieson, Jill Dunstan, Ray Moulds and Harry Coggan 51.25 net. Patsy and David Wrigley, Kurt Lew and Peter Bray came in second with 54 net.
Next Saturday's event is an Individual Stableford.
