The Farrer Agricultural High School student, originally from Nevertire, was one of two youngsters given jersey's to play in the Origin battle, alongside fellow Farrer student Hayden Loughrey, who donned the maroon.
The Origin match-up featured plenty of stars at Coonamble's Jack Woolaston Oval on Saturday, March 21, with the International Legends of League treating the crowd to a scintillating match.
The NSW line-up included former greats Robbie O'Davis, Andrew Walker, Jim Serdaris, as well as David Peachey and Nathan Blacklock who impressed with some gripping chip and chase football.
Queensland came into the match-up with six straight wins over the Blues under their belts, and were determined to get a seventh in the bag.
With Loughrey opening the scoring the northerners got off to a good start, bagging two tries early to take the lead, but the Blues fought their way back into the contest.
Fisk also got his name on the scoresheet, scoring a try and kicking a goal on the evening.
Fisk said it was amazing to have the chance to play with and against some of his heroes, even if that included getting stuck in a Petero Civoniceva headlock.
"Yeah he had me for a while," Fisk said.
"I have just been so lucky to get to play."
"It has been everything I expected it to be and more."
The crowd were in awe of the former legends, especially Walker, as the dual international looked just as in form as any first-grade player.
NSW looked like they might just snag the win away from the Queenslanders, but the two teams just couldn't be separated on the night.
A couple of Queensland of tries against the run of play levelled the scores up at 32-apiece just before the final whistle.
