Fortunately for the A-Team, EMS were struggling for players and could not hold back the quicker play and safe hands of their opposition, with the final score reading 15-3.
In other games, the experienced Floppy Discs proved too strong in the windy conditions for Team Awesome (14-1) and while the School of Rural Health Sydney Uni students scored some great points against the Blue Bombers, again the experienced side were victors 10-5.
This puts the undefeated Blue Bombers and Floppy Discs at the top of the ladder early in the season, with the deciding round to come in a few weeks.
"It's great to see the six teams settling in, with team numbers stabilising and team captains busy getting their teammates into some game tactics early in the season," DUFF president Tim Hosking said.
"The two newer sides, Team Awesome and the med students, have some solid numbers and are quickly learning new things every match.
"The weather has been against us the past two weeks, with the wind and rain, nevertheless the matches have been a lot of fun and we look forward to a great season ahead."
DUFF still has some room for a few more players in the competition.
