A 16-year-old girl was given her bail orders in Dubbo Children's Court on Tuesday.
She had pleaded guilty to driving a stolen car and dishonestly obtaining 31 litres of fuel from a Wellington service station on January 21.
When she faced court last week the prosecution had opposed bail.
Relieving magistrate Greg Grogin had granted strict conditional bail with the stipulation that accommodation for the 16-year-old was first required before she was released.
Placement with a Community Services-authorised carer was confirmed in a letter tendered to the court on Tuesday.
The teen's bail conditions included a curfew between 7pm and 7am, a non-association order with the three co-accused and to be under the supervision of relevant departments.
A 17-year-old also facing a charge relating to the incident and who was denied bail on January 21 was back before Dubbo Children's Court on Tuesday.
A plea of not guilty was entered on her behalf to being carried in a conveyance taken without consent of the owner.
The prosecution opposed bail, saying there were unacceptable risks of the 17-year-old committing further offences and failing to appear.
The defence said there was some risk the teen would fail to appear, but it was not an unacceptable risk and proposed enhanced reporting conditions.
The defence proposed a curfew at a Dubbo address, a non-association order with the three other co-accused and the offer of a surety of $200 without security could satisfy the court.
The 17-year-old was due to start year 12 at a Dubbo school and custody would not be inevitable should she be found guilty, the defence said.
Relieving magistrate Alexander Mijovich said a bail application had been made for the 17-year-old to reside at an address where she was bailed to prior to the alleged offence.
He said she was on three bonds and on bail for another matter and had a history of not complying and he was not satisfied by the conditions proposed.
The magistrate refused bail for the 17-year-old and a hearing was set for March 10.
A male youth was charged with taking and driving the car from an address at Orange without the consent of the owner.
A fourth youth who was charged with being carried in a conveyance without consent of the owner pleaded guilty last week and was released on bail to an Orange address.
