Police have seized more than 50 kilograms of drugs with a street value of $20.8 million after a raid on a property in south west Sydney.

On January 8 drug squad detectives found 14.7 kilograms of heroin, 6.2 kilograms of amphetamines tablets, 1.2 kilograms of methylamphetamine, 5 litres of methylamphetamine oil and 30 kilograms of ephedrine in a car and box trailer at Saxonvale Crescent, Edensor Park.
A police spokesman said that raid was part of an ongoing investigation into drug manufacture.
A 27-year-old Greenfield Park man was arrested and charged with supplying a large quantity of prohibited drugs. He was denied bail and is due to appear at Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday, January 14.
The spokesman said numerous firearms were also located, including an Uzi machine gun, an assault rifle and silencer, four handguns, two shortened shotguns and assorted ammunition.
He said chemicals and equipment used in drug laboratories were also located inside a car and box trailer.
The spokesman said one of the handguns, a Glock pistol, was identified as one of several pistols illegally imported into Australia from Germany several years ago.
