ROBIN'S Nest Cafe owner Sally Hopkins decided she would bring in the New Year in a less traditional way with an "awesome board."
"When you work in a coffee shop people tell you their stories," she said.
"Some of our regulars had been through some great challenges and we decided to have people write down good things that made them proud of happy.
"Instead of making resolutions that people usually break we decided to focus on the good things."
It started as a small piece of cardboard, but soon it had to be upgraded to a large board.
Now the board has been signed by close to 100 people of varying ages and backgrounds, Ms Hopkins said.
"One guy didn't lose his licence, one person finished medical school, someone 'kicked cancer in the bottom,' someone loves their Mum and someone lost a tooth."
"It made the customers happy and we really had a lot of fun with it."
The awesome board will now be hung in the gallery with the other artwork, including those of local doctor, Dr Sandra Gaffney, who teaches art classes at the Robin's Nest.
