In March this year, Dubbo couple Rob and Amy McIntyre were given the devastating news their son Max had contracted bacterial meningitis.
The McIntyres were told their son had just days to live, but their little rockstar was ready to put up a fight.
In order to give Max the best possible quality of life, Rob and Amy are exploring the possibility of heading overseas to either America or Canada to access treatment which currently is not available in Australia.
The Dubbo community has stepped up to show their support, actively taking part in the various fundraisers for the brave parents and their little fighter.
Along with the Yellow For Max footprints, which are paving their way around the world, the first of the two local fundraisers, Raise A Sweat For Max, was held last month and saw more than $2600 raised for Max's medical treatment.
Flip Out For Max coincides perfectly with the grand opening of the trampoline facility at the Showground, with 100 per cent of the first day's takings set to be donated directly to the McIntyres.
Dubbo Flip Out franchisee and close friend of the family, Jake Matthews said he was looking forward to the day, which will go ahead rain, hail or shine.
"There's going to be so much more than just bouncing," Mr Matthews said.
"We've got face painting, raffles, demonstrations, music, food and other giveaways organised as well."
Mr Matthews said the crowd would also be graced with the presence of a green ninja, which was something to certainly keep the keen bouncers on their toes.
Mr Matthews said the support the event had received from the Flip Out company, and in particular CEO Brent Grundy, was amazing.
"Flip Out have been right behind it from the start."
Mr Matthews said he was impressed with the community's ability to come together to support the family, many of whom had never met the McIntyres before.
"We're amazed at the support which has come from all over the place," Amy said.
Rob said they were incredibly grateful to both Flip Out and Singarama Dubbo, the brains behind the hundreds of Max McIntyre footprints trotting around the globe.
"Without them, I don't know what we'd do," he said.
You don't have to brave the trampolines to make the most of the day, the McIntyre's are encouraging anyone to pop down and say hello to little Max.
Max's footprints will also be on sale for $5 each.
