FROM being on show at Sydney Harbour to diving with great white sharks in Western Australia the Cricket World Cup trophy has been through a lot in the lead-up to next year's tournament and today the famed piece of silverware arrives at Dubbo.
The Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour will take in 65 locations across Australia and after travelling through Western Australia, where former Australian quick Shaun Tait took it underwater, and South Australia it arrives at the Lady Cutler Ovals as the second stop in NSW.
Former Australian cricketers Andy Bichel and Jimmy Maher will also be in attendance while there will be a host of attractions and activities to keep local cricket fans entertained.
There will also be a Legends versus Locals match played at 3.30pm this afternoon.
