Patrick John Sayers, 37, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified, using an unregistered vehicle and displaying an unauthorised number plate.
Police said the offences occurred between 10.15am and 10.30am on July 29.
Sayers pleaded not guilty to additional charges of driving while disqualified and using an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
The offences are alleged to have occurred at 8.50am on November 18.
A solicitor from the Aboriginal Legal Service said the charges put Sayers in breach of bonds previously imposed by the court.
The court heard Sayers had been jailed for similar driving offences in 2008.
Because he was still on parole he could not be considered for an intensive correction order (allowing a jail term to be served in the community).
Magistrate Andrew Eckhold called up the bonds and asked for a full pre-sentence report.
The charges were set down for hearing on January 13.
"He needs to bring his tooth brush," the magistrate said.
