Police have charged a man after his wife was found dead in the front yard of their western Sydney home on Monday afternoon.

Officers arrested a man, 51, shortly after the body of his wife Vesna Crnobrnja, 49, was found outside their Casula home.
The man was charged on Monday night with his wife's murder, and is due to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday.
None of the couple's three children were at home at the time. Police believe the pair had been involved in an argument in the lead up to Ms Crnobrnja's death.
Detective Inspector Dean Johnstone said the woman had sustained face and head injuries.
"The information we have been provided so far by witnesses is that there was an altercation, and the male and the female were involved in an argument," Inspector Johnstone said.
"There are some witnesses who heard things prior to and after the incident occurred."
He said police were called to a house on Flame Tree Street where they found Ms Crnobrnja about 12.20pm.
"We are still not 100 per cent certain of the full extent of her injuries or the cause of death," he said.
"When police arrived they found the woman deceased in the front yard. A short time later the male returned to the scene and was arrested and taken to Liverpool Station."
It is believed officers had previously been called to the couple's house.
