Confirming the school's stance as a western region cricketing juggernaut, OPS's second consecutive western crown means the blue and golds now travel to Wagga Wagga to take on Riverina champions South Wagga.
Bowling first, OPS's seam attack was brilliant, restricting the Dubbo batting line-up to 9-62 from its 25 overs before coming out and passing the total one wicket down in just the ninth over.
OPS coach Debbie Smith was ecstatic with the result.
"To be in the final eight in the state is a wonderful achievement for the school, I think," she said.
"Our bowlers were unbelievably tight with the ball, and that was the key for us against Dubbo."
Smith said the only downside to the victory was just thee batsmen got to spend some valuable time in the middle before next week's trip south for the southern country quarter-final in Wagga.
"That was something the Dubbo coach made mention of, all of their wins had been convincing and not many of their batters had batted in the competition," she said.
"That's something we'll have look at."
Smith said her side will be training hard in the lead-up to next week's game, with a date for the contest still to be confirmed.
