SOUTH Dubbo captain Tim Berry believes early-season wins are vital in this year’s Whitney Cup, and his side delivered the perfect start to their 2014/15 campaign when they defied a century from Justin Gavin to post a 27-run win over Macquarie at No.2 Oval on Saturday.
