Mr Gallagher, the function and entertainment co-ordinator for Canberra Nightclub Academy, said his degree and experience with the club would help him with a career in artist management.
"I majored in marketing and tourism management and I'd like to continue doing that," Mr Gallaghar said.
While happy to be finished, Mr Gallaghar said there were aspects of university he would miss.
"It's a good feeling to leave that behind- no more school. But I'll miss the lifestyle. Living on campus was pretty good," he said.
More than 1300 students graduated from the University of Canberra this month in four ceremonies.
University of Canberra Vice-Chancellor Professor Stephen Parker said the university was on track to meet its goal of becoming one of Australia's most innovative and successful universities.
