Every year in October, everyone is encouraged to wear bright coloured socks or stockings to their workplace, school etc. to help raise funds in support of White Wreath Association to help combat Australia's high suicide rate.
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44 years.
Yoga instructor Kym Smith said the exercises are great for relaxation and meditation.
"Yoga is about being mindful and finding inner peace," Kym said during her instruction to the students.
October is Mental Health Awareness month, and those involved in yesterdays campaign provided many activities to help reduce stress and to offer information to people who might be going through difficult times.
As well as the free yoga class, there was a happy photo booth, massage chair and DIY stress balls.
CSU Health promotion officer, Kirsten Bourke said the aim of is to reduce the stigma of suicide.
"We encourage everyone to reach out and speak out if they are having any problems," she said.
Held at the schools cafeteria, there was a wall of socks to show that anyone can be affected.
"The various socks show on the wall show that suicide and mental health issues can affect anyone," Ms Bourke said.
