More than 100 participants walked from Victoria Park, along from Talbragar Street to Macquarie Street to Church Street and back to Victoria Park.
Before the walk a jumping castle, face painting, hose play with the RFS entertained the children, while Zumba with Tracy and Isaac Crompton entertained the crowds.
Walk With Me organiser, Northcott's Cameron Luckie, said the day had experienced some amazing weather and funds would be put to a good cause.
"All of the proceeds we made today stay in Dubbo [and will] go towards the programs at Northcott," he said.
Mr Luckie said this had been one of the biggest Walk With Me events, which attracted a lot of families.
"The walk was fantastic- we got clapped and cheered by people as we went," he said.
"Everyone has said this has been one of the biggest. We achieved what we wanted to which was to raise awareness of disabilities."
Northcott, a not-for-profit disability service will specifically fund services such as respite, family support and life skills.
They and Westhaven had stands set up showcasing the work they do.
Walk with Me ambassadors Cody Jones and Jennifer Perrow spoke about the significant, positive impact Northcott had on their lives.
"Northcott is an extremely important service who support people of all ages with disabilities," said Mr Jones.
"Eighteen months ago I wouldn't go out of the house; now thanks to Northcott they can't keep me in."
