Playmates Cottage childcare centre will have to leave its home at Dubbo Hospital at the end of 2016, according to Dubbo MP Troy Grant.
It has been given a 12-month lease extension until then.
Playmates is being forced to move as part of the hospital refurbishment.
It cares for 100 children and could be forced to close.
Dubbo has a consistent shortage of childcare spots.
The Playmates issue will be debated in NSW Parliament next month, but if Mr Grant is right its fate has already been decided.
Another 336 Dubbo families face uncertainty over family day care until mid-2015 because of planned federal government changes and funding cuts.
The cuts to day care - where educators provide care in their own home - could force prices up or reduce service quality.
Dubbo Family Day Care believes it should qualify against tighter funding criteria, but there is no guarantee.
It could lose $30,000 because of funding caps.
The two governments need to think of the harmful consequences of their actions.
