A large audience of parents and community members were treated to a diverse showcase of talent, a breathtaking display of professional creative and performing arts skills, proudly overseen by faculty teachers who have guided and supported students through their final year.
From Melissa McDonald's individual drama project The Mangroves, exploring a new school, new expectations and new friends, to Amber Bunt's core dance performance and Rachael Baker's performance of the Missy Higgins song Where I Stood, it was a seamless display of artistic talent.
The night was compered by Senior Campus arts captains Nathan Bryon and Alyssa Lambert, who joined in with individual and group performances.
Nathan performed a song from the musical Ragtime, and played a role in a group drama piece Girls' Stuff, as well as singing with colleagues Rachael Baker and Billie Palin in the night's final performance, The Prayer.
Alyssa performed a core dance composition, with choreography by Kaiya Hannifey, as well as playing a role in the group drama production of Girl's Stuff.
Beautiful art works from the visual arts class filled the back of the hall, with the audience able to view the works before the start of the performing arts spectacle, as well as during interval.
Organised by creative and performing arts faculty coordinator Kerrie Walters and her staff, including Deb Dawson, Lyndal Powderly, Jules Marshall, Lucy Vaughan, Tamara Lawry and Jessica Schulte, the creative arts night provided students with one-off opportunity to display their work to the public.
