The championships brought bowlers from across the four regions of the central west to compete in singles, pairs, triples and fours competitions and Manildra took out the open division before the Dubbo City Bowling Club women took over.
Manildra Bowling Club (Canobolas District) won the open fours 24-12 over Dubbo City.
In the senior fours, Dubbo City (Mid-Western District) won 25-19 over Canowindra (Central Western District).
Dubbo City were the hot favourites after hammering Orange City (Canobolas District) 41-13 on Monday.
The team skipped by Annette McMillan, who is playing in the singles and the pairs competitions as well, won against Canowindra 25-19.
Canowindra made the final by defeating the Mudgee (Central Tablelands District) team of Maureen Knight, Colleen Condon, Eileen Falk and Narelle Pye 26-14.
The final was tight with the two teams exchanging the lead on four occasions.
It wasn't until the 17th end when Dubbo City kicked away to win.
They picked up six shots on that end to take a 23-14 lead.
It proved to be the difference as Dubbo City won by six shots.
In the open fours, Manildra progressed to the final by defeating the Rylstone (Central Tablelands District) team of Wendy Williams, Bonnie Farrell, Anne Milton and Phyllis Grimshaw 24-11 on Monday.
In the other match, Dubbo City won a tight one, 20-19, over Cowra (Central Western District).
In the final, Manildra got off to a flying start where they picked up five shots on the first end.
They never looked back.
Apart from picking up three shots on the fourth and 17th ends, Dubbo City were never in the hunt as Manildra, skipped by Dianne Fliedner, maintained a huge advantage all the way until the 21stand final end where they won by 12 shots.
The winners progressed to the state championships to be played at Tuncurry Bowling Club from October 25 to November 1.
