A 16 year old Parkes girl is in Orange Base Hospital suffering suspected neck and spinal injuries after she was involved in a car accident west of Parkes on Sunday.

The driver, a 20 year old Parkes male, and four passengers were traveling west on the Back Trundle Road at 12pm when he lost control of the vehicle which left the road and rolled 450 metres west of No Mistake Lane.
Police and emergency services attended the scene and a 16 year old female was transported to Orange Base Hospital.
A 17 year old female was taken to Parkes Hospital with suspected chest injuries and later released.
Parkes Detectives attended and examined the scene.
As investigations are continuing, the extent of charges is not known at this stage.
