Dubbo City Council Commercial Facilities Manager Simon Tratt said the latest release will provide residents with some of the first access to the optical fibre supplied NBN in the city.
"At present in Dubbo only residents of a small number of new residential developments have access to the NBN under the Fibre in New Developments Policy," Mr Tratt said.
"The NBN will be accessible to residents of Keswick Estate by the time they have finished building their new homes."
"The NBN will provide residents with fast and reliable internet connection allowing them the potential to work from home, new opportunities in education and e-health and additional entertainment options."
Keswick Estate Stage Four, Release One comprises 33 lots, with 32 lots sold.
Construction on the next release of Stage Four will begin in August with construction of storm water and sewerage infrastructure already complete.
