Police searching for a man missing from Dubbo have located a body.

The 40-year-old was last seen about 1.30pm on Tuesday May 27, 2014 and was reported missing when he failed to return home and couldn’t be located or contacted.
Police from Orana Local Area Command commenced an extensive search for the man.
About 7.30am Thursday, police were called to the Golden Highway near Dubbo after a member of the public located a motorcycle that had been involved in a crash.
Police attended and located a man’s body nearby.
While a formal identification is yet to take place, the body is believed to be the missing man’s.
Investigations continue and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
