Mrs Williams and her students will attend the 2015 Suzuki Summer School workshop in Matsumoto, Japan where they will mix with other young violinists from all over the world.
To raise money for this trip residents are invited to attend a showcase of music and the arts at An Enchanted Evening on Sunday night at the Dubbo Christian School, from 6.30pm for a night not to be missed.
Performances include solo and chamber items from multiple international piano competition winner Laura McDonald and Airena Nakamura, former Australian chamber orchestra member.
Dubbo Suzuki Music students will be showcasing their music abilities along with a performance from Stepping Out Dance Factory members. Artworks by Sandra Gaffney are available for purchase during the interval. All proceeds will go directly towards the Dubbo Suzuki Students' tour to Japan.
Tickets are $22 for adults, $15 for children and $60 for a family of four. They can be purchased at on the door, by email dubbosuzukimusic@gmail.com or by calling Allison Williams on 0412 338 319.
