Matthew McAllister, 36, was last seen in Douglas Mawson Drive on Wednesday about 6pm.
At the time he was driving a white Holden Commodore station wagon, NSW registration BR40BD.
Mr McAllister has been described as being of Caucasian appearance, with an olive complexion, brown hair and eyes, about 160-170cm tall and weighing between 90-100kg.
It is not known what he was wearing at the time.
Police and his family have serious concerns for his welfare.
His family told police he may be heading towards to northern NSW or southern Queensland, possibly in the Toowoomba area.
