A GOOD field of 60 Dubbo RSL Social Golf Club members hit off in very frosty conditions at Dubbo for the monthly medal and the conditions were that tough from the blue plates that only one member beat handicap.

The sponsor for the day was Phil Lawrence at Better Frames and Trusses.
The winner in A-grade and also recipient of the guzzler's mug was Dave McGrath with a round of 81, 70 nett. He won from Lindsay Mitchell (84-72).
The B-grade winner on a countback was Gavin Weekes (91-72) who edged out Robert Atkins 90-72 while the C-grade medal went to Peter Gleeson won with a round of 104-74, leaving Phil Reynolds for second with 104-78.
The highlight of the day was an eagle three on the par-5 first hole by Roger Ireland.
The Craig Mears scratch winners were in A-grade Dave McGrath 81, B-grade on a countback Grant Fish 89 and C-grade Peter Gleeson 100.
The ball competition went down to nett 75 and included Reg Pipe, Hughy Graham, George Dunn, Kel Kilsby, Grant Fish, Ross Coady and Roger Ireland.

The golden putter jackpot was out to $250.50 for an eight metre putt which was taken and missed by Bruce Simpson so it will jackpot again this week.
