Two people have been charged after a man had his neck slashed and his leg stabbed in Wellington on Saturday night.

About 1.15am the 61-year-old man was inside his caravan parked on a property along the Mitchell Highway when he was allegedly assaulted.
Police arrested a man and teenage girl on Tuesday with the alleged attempted murder.
Police will say the 32-year-old man walked into the caravan and attacked the 61-year-old with a knife.
The 61-year-old received a slash wound to his neck and a stab wound to his leg before the 32-year-old fled in a waiting car.
The injured man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Wellington District Hospital.
Detectives from Orana Local Area Command conducted investigations into the assault and arrested a 32-year-old man and 17-year-old girl.
They were charged with cause wounding/grievous bodily with intent to murder and special aggravated break and enter.
The man was refused bail at Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday and will reappear at Wellington Local Court on Thursday, February 11, 2014.
The girl was refused bail at court and will reappear in a Children’s Court on Tuesday, December 10, 2013
