They covered the skate park bowl with graffiti, as well as targeting a nearby toilet block and day care centre for children.
Dubbo City Council appealed for public assistance and highlighted a $2500 reward it offered for information leading to a conviction.
The attack occurred just two days after the Dubbo City Youth Council tackled graffiti in the main street with the help of the community.
“This episode is particularly disappointing after we had such success in the CBD on Sunday for Graffiti Removal Day," council community participation facilitator Kathleen Oke said.
