The first car burst into flames on impact with trees in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Four Dubbo Rescue Squad members were among those to respond to the second incident on Saturday afternoon.
They were at Coonabarabran for a regional training exercise when the crash happened about 18 kilometres east of the town.
About 3pm a Toyota Hilux utility was travelling north on the Oxley Highway at Rocky Glen when it left the road and hit a tree, NSW Police said in a statement.
The sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
The victim had not been formally identified yesterday but police reported it was believed to be a 36-year-old man from Berrigan.
Police from Mudgee Local Area Command are investigating the crash and are appealing for any witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
It was the second road death being investigated after a fatal crash in the early hours of Saturday morning.
About 2am a Mitsubishi Triton utility was travelling north on the Coonabarabran road when it lost control about six kilometres from Baradine, NSW Police said in a statement.
It crashed into a number of trees and burst into flames.
The sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene and yesterday had not yet been formally identified.
He was believed to be a 25-year-old local man, police reported.
Police from the Mudgee command examined the scene and appealed for witnesses to contact Crime Stoppers.
Police will prepare reports on both crashes for the NSW Coroner.
Dubbo Rescue Squad captain Neil Sturrock said four members had been doing vertical rescue training at Coonabarabran at the weekend.
They went with local rescue squad members to the Rocky Glen crash scene, he said.
"They were out there for a fair while... training fits around (incidents)," he said.
