More than 160 guests danced the night away and enjoyed reminiscing and catching up in true Mendooran style.
Barry and Lola (his wife of 51 years who passed away in 2004) have six children, and their extended families gathered with relatives and friends from around the Mendooran district.
Guests also travelled from Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, Ocean Shores, Dubbo, Wellington and Taree.
The night was full of highlights.
Barry’s son Lloyd and granddaughter Justine Kuhner performed beautifully, singing some of his favourite tunes.
There were lucky door prizes, a slideshow and movie presentation.
Barry would be a familiar face to many having worked at the RTA Motor Registry in Dubbo for many years, commuting from Mendooran each day.
