The section has been re-named Good Food, in line with Fairfax Media's highly successful Good Food brand.
It features tempting recipes from some of Australia's best chefs, as well as food news, cooking tips, wine advice and the latest in food trends. Quinoa (pronounced keen-wah) anyone?
Daily Liberal editor Simon Chamberlain said the change was all about adding value for the Liberal's growing online audiences.
"We know most of our online readers visit our site for its strong local news content, but we like to make sure there's much more for them too," Mr Chamberlain said.
"This new Good Food section adds to our existing lifestyle content and provides quality reading alongside our traditional hard news content."
Fairfax Regional Media, owner of the Daily Liberal is pleased to have NSW Minerals on board as a sponsor of the section as part of its current state-wide marketing campaign.
Mr Chamberlain encouraged new and regular visitors to the site to check out the new section.
"But be warned - it will make you hungry," he said.
