The lucky ticket holder is said to have made the purchase from the Tamworth Street outlet in the last four to five days.
Owners Brooke Goodwin and Andrew Bartlett, who have owned the store more than six years now, say they are looking forward to the ticket holder coming forward to claim their prize.
"Nobody's been here yet. The first we knew about it was when the Liberal called us to tell us about the win," Ms Goodwin said.
"It's been a while since we've had a big win."
The biggest win to come out of the South Dubbo Newsagency since the pair has been in control was a whopping $1.2 million jackpot.
Locals are expected to splurge thousands during the coming days on two major Lotto draws.
On Saturday $30 million will be up for grabs followed by Tuesday's Oz Lotto $50 million mega draw.
Nationally, Tatts predicts punters could spend upward of $80 million on the two big draws.
Locally, the staff at South Dubbo Newsagency are hoping they have enough luck on their side to produce another big winner during the coming days.
"It would definitely be nice," Ms Goodwin said.
