Tony Barlow defeated Kevin Walkom for the treasurers position while Alistair Quarmby from Nyngan takes on the position of junior president.
Walsh said the group received a number of nominations for those wanting to be on the management committee.
“We have our three executives who will remain but there was four other spots and we had seven people interested,” he said.
“Gavin Board, Dave Powell, Derek Hoe and Paul Loxley were the four successful applicants.
“It is good to have some fresh blood in there and pleasing to see so many people who are keen to be involved.”
Group 11 first grade managers Tommy Gray and Derek Hoe were bestowed life members of the Group on Sunday. Hoe has been managing the side for 22 years while Gray has been there for 17. Walsh said the Group decided it was time to recognise their commitment.
Another feature of the meeting was the ongoing discussion over the Group 11 competition draw.
“One thing that we do believe will happen is that the first round of the Country Championships will be a general bye for Group 11,” Walsh said.
“Last season we had seven Parkes players in the side and Parkes went to Nyngan minus these players and lost.
“We are waiting on a response from Country Rugby League to see if that will be ratified.”
Another concept the Group are hoping to get up and running is a league tag competition for women. The competition would be run by the CRL on Sunday’s, in correlation to the Group 11 matches.
It would be open to any female over 14, Walsh said the likelihood of the competition going ahead will depend on how many women show their interest to their clubs.
