Tomorrow at Apex Oval there will be a number of games for under-7s, 8s and 9s. The contests, and of course the results, will be interesting in the international rules games. There will also be football at Narromine.
The rounds will culminate a busy one for junior league.
On Wednesday, Dubbo Senior College’s Opens teams won its University Shield Cup round against Chifley College from Sydney’s West by 16-12.
Then on Thursday, also at Apex Oval, the Country High Schools Country Cup and Small Schools Knockout winners were decided.
St Anne’s Catholic School from Temora won the under-12s 28-11 against St Raphael’s Cowra. In the Country Cup 13s, Kiama got up 12-10 against Farrer Ag from Tamworth.
Oberon High took out the under-16, year 10 Small Schools final 30-18 against Murrumburrah High.
Brisbane Waters Secondary College from Woy Woy won 30-10 against Warilla High in the under-15s Country Cup final.
The big one was the Opens Country Cup when Farrer got out to 26-6 at half-time and hung on to win 26-22 against a gallant Red Ben College, Forbes team.
