The two dogs have set-up a real rivalry which has breathed plenty of life into the free-for-all sprints at Dawson Park in recent weeks.
Freeman Keeping began well from box eight to jump on terms with Awesome Joey and Gambarra Girl but by the time they had got to the driving tower Freeman Keeping had asserted her authority and raced away to a winning three-length lead to score in a nippy 18.18s.
Awesome Joey battled on gamely for second while Iddy Biddy Moo filled the minor placing.
It was a memorable day for the Roberts kennel, landing a treble on the ten-race card.
Three heats of the GBOTA Winter Sprint were conducted over the 400m journey.
Heat one was won in impressive fashion by the Bryan Maxwell-trained Lamington ($1.80) which broke their hearts early, pinging the lids and running 23.25s.
Heat two went to Orange sprinter I’m A Pretty Boy for William O’Neill in the time of 23.66s while the third heat went to $1.40 favourite Future Keeping who barely raised a sweat in posting a 23.37s win.
The final really does look a two-dog affair with Lamington and Future Keeping both with their fair share of supporters, but the corner start factor may just give a few others a chance.

Assassin Journey made a sensational debut over the 516m trip stopping the clock at an impressive 30.21s . Commencing from box eight, Assassin Journey ($1.70 fav) gave nothing else a chance jumping a clear length in front at box rise.
