There are only seven students in the modern history class at the school, and in the lead-up to yesterday’s exam they spent time studying together.
But nothing could fully prepare them for what they faced when the three-hour test started.
“I wrote the whole time but found most of the questions I expected and practised for them,” Darren Howard said.
“The Cold War question was the worst.
“They focused towards the end of it where I prepared for the start but apart from that I thought it was pretty good.”
Nicola Hart was pretty relaxed after the exam, admitting she thought it had gone well
“I found it quite intense,” she said.
“It wasn’t too hard and I had prepared for it so I was right.
“I don’t know how many pages I wrote but got through eight booklets.”
Year 12 students across the state will continue their HSC today with the general mathematics exam being held today from 9.25am while Aboriginal studies, Italian, and software design and development
will be completed this afternoon.
