RSPCA Dubbo shelter manager Mandy Passmore said there were double the number of participants they had last year.

“There were about 150 registrations - some including families of four, and there are online registrations we haven’t counted yet,” she said.
Ms Passmore said it was a “very positive day” and a chance for animal people to come out and have a bit of fun.
“The Paws Walk raises awareness of what the RSPCA provides to the community, and it was really great to see shelter dogs again who have been adopted,” she said.
The Million Paws Walk is one of the biggest annual fundraising events for the RSPCA and involves thousands of people and dogs registering, fundraising and participating throughout the country to raise money for those less fortunate animals at RSPCA shelters.
