Her departure came as no surprise after she actually nominated herself for eviction. However, the votes were tight with Dixie on 14 points, Bianca just behind on 12 points and Nobbie on seven.
Running out onto the main stage last night Dixie was openly happy to be leaving the show and returning to Dubbo “to rally support for Renee”.
“I can’t wait to get back to Dubbo and get everyone to cheer on Renee,” Dixie said in between mouthfuls - and burps - of KFC.
“I asked them (housemates) to vote me out because I wanted to go.”
Dixie’s homesickness was particularly evident last week as she was seen having a teary conversation with Renee, saying “I just wanna see another black fella”.
On stage last night Dixie admitted she missed her family and friends a lot, as well as KFC and footy.
Whether the Dubbo lass will be remembered as the first Aboriginal on Big Brother, or as the house’s washing woman, or for having breasts which weigh “4.3 kilos each”, Dixie certainly knew how to stir the Big Brother pot.
Meanwhile, Dubbo’s Renee Black continues to remain a favourite to win the series, gaining growing support both within the house and across the country. Dixie last night said she would continue to aid this support to see her Dubbo mate come out on top.
In her final words on the Big Brother eviction stage Dixie sent her well wishes to the Macquarie Raiders and said he hoped they won today. She will certainly be happy to hear they flogged the Cobar Roosters 48-nil.
